Registering on SocialBlox

Everything on registering an account with SocialBlox includes usernames, setting up your profile details and creating a private account.

How do I register at SocialBlox?

You can easily register an account via the SocialBlox app. Select Register and enter your email address. Then confirm your email address by entering the confirmation code in the app.

To register, you must be 16 years or older. Accept the requirements if you are older than 16.Accounts under the age limit will be removed when found.

Fill in your username and display name, and accept our terms of service and privacy guidelines. Then complete the registration by adding your phone number and confirm it by entering the code sent to you in the app.


The following steps are optional, but we recommend you go through them:

Add a profile picture by clicking the empty circle in the middle of the field or clickingSkip. We then create a wallet where you can safely store your SBLX tokens. We do not manage wallets and only generate one for you during registration. Securing and managing the wallet is the user’s responsibility.

Make a backup by storing the 12 words somewhere safe. We recommend not taking a screenshot with your mobile but writing the sequence on paper and storing it safely. These 12 words differ from your SocialBlox login details as you use them to access your wallet.

Go to the next page. We ask you to repeat the phrase to ascertain that it is copied correctly. You have now successfully backed up your wallet.

Congratulations! Your SocialBlox account has been successfully registered. You can now start creating challenges and other content.

How do I create a wallet?

You do not have to create a wallet yourself; we will create one for you during registration on our platform. We do not store wallet details such as your login. Only the user can see the wallet backup.

NOTE: The responsibility for managing the wallet lies with the user. SocialBlox does not save wallet login details for its users. Losing this data may result in permanently losing funds held in the wallet.

How do I put my SocialBlox account on private?

Go to your profile page and click on the gear (settings) at the top right. Select Edit profile and click the slider next to Private profile. If it is grey, your profile is public. If the button is purple, your profile is set to private.

How do I update my profile details?

Go to your profile page and click on the gear (settings) at the top right. Select Edit profile and click on whatever you would like to change.

What is the age limit for SocialBlox?

We have chosen to maintain a minimum age of 16 years for registering on our platform. Due to the use of crypto and challenges, we only allow users aged 16 and over.

SocialBlox wants to create a safe platform for everyone but knows that the concept is not for every age group. We actively delete any account that falls under the age limit and pretends to be over 16.

What if my username is already in use?

We cannot change usernames already in use by other users. We work with a first come, first serve method; the first user is entitled to the username.


We recommend that you consider other versions of your username by using periods(.), numbers (0-9), underscores (_) or abbreviations. These additions may help you find a fitting username.


This also applies to non-active usernames. We encourage users to use their accounts and remain active on the platform. However, we will not change usernames when an account is inactive.
